As a founding member of Siteworx, Rand has been a driving force that has helped formulate and institute the design and creative methodology that has become Siteworx’ signature methodology for web and mobile application design success.
In his role as VP of Creative, Rand guides creative teams of art directors, visual designers and interaction designers, working in close collaboration across disciplines. He ensures that Siteworx stays true to its high standards of design and usability. Rand's emphasis is on effective conceptual design that produces educational and entertaining products with the highest production values.
Rand has provided creative direction and design for numerous award-winning solutions at Siteworx including, websites, mobile apps, rich media experiences, social media, widgets, and corporate ID and collateral for notable clients such as National Geographic, AoL, Discovery, PBS, and The College Board.
Rand is the recipient of several prestigious design awards, including the Webby, Davey, ADDY, Communicator, Web Award and W3.
A founder of the notable design firm The New Media Group, Rand holds a B.A. in Communications Design and Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
