RESTON, VA, February 23, 2007-Siteworx, a Web company that combines design and technology, was awarded three "Standard-of-Excellence" awards at the annual WebAward competition of the Web Marketing Association (www.webaward.org), as well as three Silver Davey awards from the International Academy of the Visual Arts (www.daveyawards.com). The company received awards for the Web sites it developed for National Geographic Domestic Home Entertainment, NAFSA Association of International Educators, Athena Technologies, as well as for Siteworx's own corporate site.
Siteworx received recognition from the Web Marketing Association after judges reviewed 2,300 Web sites from 35 countries. Using criteria for design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting, and ease of use, the panel determined that the three entries from Siteworx provided a user experience for which all Web sites should strive. The IAVA awarded Siteworx three Silver Daveys after reviewing over 3,500 entries from across the US and around the world.
