Case study: Good Works

It's not all about money.

We believe in good corporate citizenship and we back that up with action. Siteworx contributes pro bono services on a continuing basis every year. We're proud of the work we've done for non-profit and charitable organizations - it's part of who we are.

The American Cancer Society.

Siteworx produces and hosts the National Capital Golf Classic website for the American Cancer Society ( www.swing4acure.com ). This important annual event is the area's premier charity golf tournament and has raised over $1 million for prostate cancer programs in the Mid-Atlantic. For three years, Siteworx has worked pro bono to develop, update and launch the website in order to promote and market the tournament.

Save the Trail.

Siteworx designed and developed the Save the Trail website to promote the campaign helping to preserve and protect the W&OD bike trail in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties ( www.savethetrail.com ). The trail was threatened by existing power line right-of-ways dating back to the time the trail was an active railroad line. The recreational value of the trail would have been severely compromised by the construction of towers for power lines.

Christian International Scholarship Foundation

Siteworx produced and hosts the Christian International Scholarship Foundation (CISF) ministry website dedicated to finding and educating church leaders from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe ( www.cisf.org ). CISF specifically focuses on individuals already affiliated with relief organizations, educational institutions and church groups as well as established authors of Christian literature.

Fall into the Arts Festival

Siteworx produced and hosts the Fall into the Arts website promoting its annual outdoor arts festival in Leesburg, Virginia ( www.fallintothearts.com ). The festival is a fun, family-oriented event that features live music and gallery tours in historic downtown Leesburg.
