Harvard University's Center for Hellenic Studies (CHS) was finding it difficult to communicate their wealth of classics scholarship to Greek enthusiast and scholars. The website needed significant changes to the user interface, both in information architecture and visual design, to increase usability. Integrating the wealth of mini-sites, existing databases and external sources into a more logical structure allowed users to find what they need quickly without getting lost. Siteworx created a very rich, immersive visual design that evokes a historic feeling while also serving as an information portal, with subtle details of textures and patterns that bring to mind ancient Greek sculpture and art.
