DCFemTech named Siteworx’ Senior Designer, Ashleigh Liggett as a Powerful Woman Designer. The award recognizes outstanding women engineers and designers based in the DC region.
Ashleigh and other design recipients were selected based on their impact helping a company or non-profit achieve their goals; the complexity of issues addressed with design; and their contributions to the broader technology and open source community.
“We are proud to have three past and present DCFemTech award winners adding value to our clients and the community,” said Ken Quaglio, Siteworx President and CEO. “These awards represent a fantastic opportunity for outstanding women designers and programmers to be recognized for their talents and leadership. We’re happy to sponsor the awards ceremony.”
Ashleigh and several other award winners will be recognized at the “Powerful Women Programmers and Designers” Awards on April 13.
Last year, DCFemTech named Siteworx’ Savani Tatake, Technical Director and Allison Carnwath, Senior Software Developer as Powerful Women Programmers. DCFemTech is a coalition of women leaders from organizations such as Women Who Code, AIGA, DC Web Women, Rails Girls DC and PyLadies DC who seek to amplify women in tech organizations.
