Razorfish Veteran Malek Tayara Joins Siteworx as Managing Partner

Razorfish veteran and seasoned digital marketing leader, Malek Tayara, will drive growth and deliver digital strategies across diverse industries.

RESTON, VA  Siteworx, LLC, a leading digital experience agency, announced that the company has appointed Malek Tayara as Managing Partner for the Central Region. In his role, Malek is responsible for expanding the company’s book of business across a variety of industries in the central states, managing key client accounts and overseeing the Siteworx Chicago office operations.

Malek comes to Siteworx from Razorfish, where he gained nearly 20 years of digital marketing expertise selling and delivering complex enterprise wide digital transformations for B2B and B2C companies. His client work supported customer self-service capabilities, eCommerce implementations, sales enablement and digital experience engagements.

“Malek has strong experience growing revenue, maintaining key relationships and managing client engagements for some of the most respected companies in the world. Previously, as Vice President, Client Partner for Razorfish, Malek managed accounts for several multi-billion dollar companies including EMC, US Foods, GE and Prudential. Malek was instrumental in developing a strategy for EMC’s digital assets such as the company’s corporate website, sales and partner portals, global campaign frameworks and strategies, customer acquisition strategies, social media engagement and content management implementations. His contributions led to strengthened relationships with EMC stakeholders, and improved sales team efficiencies and performance.

Malek started at Razorfish as a Technical Analyst and held roles of increasing responsibility during his tenure. He earned Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Engineering from University of Michigan.

Malek’s new appointment comes on the heels of several other senior executive hires for Siteworx. Most recently, the company named Mike Gilpin as Chief Technical Officer and brought on several others to round out the c-suite, creative services in addition to a new Partner of eCommerce.
