Siteworx helps Paypal set web development standards to better manage their online brand.
PayPal is a global leader in online payment solutions with more than 153 million accounts worldwide. Available in 190 markets and 18 currencies around the world, PayPal enables global ecommerce by making payments possible across different locations, currencies, and languages.
Due to their tremendous growth, PayPal was experiencing expansion-related operational challenges. PayPal reached out to us to address a variety of brand-standardization topics, ranging from the best practices implications of page design, down to the display of the appropriate fields for each operation.
We recommended design and development standards that significantly improved PayPal’s consistency from a marketing and usability perspective. The consistent visual design helped focus PayPal’s brand, as well as promote improved interfaces and customer usability. Web design standards also improved the development team’s efficiency, enabling them to work from pre-defined designs, defined code, and approved practice sets. PayPal was also able to save substantially in its new-hire training budget, while experiencing a notable increase in web development retention due to the expertise and guidance provided by Siteworx.
